Royal Skandia Christmas & New Year Operations

As in previous years, Royal Skandia endeavours to ensure a good level of service is maintained over the Christmas and New Year periods. In line with this, we would like to provide you with our various cut-off dates for both unit linked and portfolio bond businesses.

Business Hours

Please note that Royal Skandia will be closed on 24th, 25th, & 26th December and 1st January.

Switches

Switches for daily dealing funds will be processed as normal.

Claims

Unit Linked & Portfolio Bond – we will process any full or part surrender received up to and including 7th December subject to the following being received:

• Original withdrawal/ surrender request
• Policy documents (where relevant)
• Any outstanding information in relation to the claim
• Proceeds of any sale (where cash is not available)

We reserve the right to delay payment where settlement of any required sales is not received or where dealing criteria such as market value adjusters, weekly or monthly dealing timings or notice periods apply. This also applies to the switching of weekly valued funds (Unit Linked business only).
