FPI Aviva European Property (November 2008)

Important information regarding Aviva Investors European Property Funds

Aviva Investors Global Services Ltd, managers of the underlying assets of the FPIL Aviva Investors European Property Funds, have informed us that they took the decision to suspend dealing in these funds with effect from 4 November 2008.
This is initially for a period of 28 days, however it is likely that the suspension period will need to be extended beyond 28 days and until the funds have sufficient liquid assets to meet redemption requests.
________________________________________

Aviva Investors has introduced these measures due to a lack of immediate liquidity within the fund.
As a direct result dealing in the mirror funds has also been suspended, effective from 5 November 2008, which was the last dealing price made available to us.
This means that until the suspension is lifted by the fund managers, we are unable to sell or purchase any units within these funds.
If you have sent an instruction to us within the last 10 days, we will be contacting you separately to advise you of any options you may have. In addition, if any clients are paying a regular premium into a plan, and part of this invests into these funds, this will be re-directed into M65 FPIL Investec GS Sterling Money Fund or J89 FPIL Euro Deposit Fund. If you are sending us a new instruction, please ensure that this keeps within the normal 10 fund limit.
________________________________________

A letter will be sent to policyholders within the next few days, with copies to their brokers, explaining the situation further.
