RS Portfolios Cut-Off Dates, Christmas and New Year 2008

Dear friends,

As in previous years, Royal Skandia endeavours to ensure a good level of service is maintained over the Christmas and New Year periods. In line with this, we would like to provide you with our various cut off dates for Portfolio Bond business.

New Business
Applications up to and including 12th December for Portfolio Bonds will be processed prior to year end.  

All subject to the following being received:        

• Original application (clean) – No faxed applications will be considered.
• Premium 
• Clear information on source of funds  
• Investment Instructions (clear) 
• Signed client disclaimer if 6 month or more fixed deposits are required
• Any other supporting documentation

Please note that applications will be processed in the order in which they are received to be fair to all clients, faxed applications will be disregarded on any given day until all originals have been processed fully.

Priority will be given to getting the business on the books and we reserve the right to defer the issue of the documents until the New Year but no later than the second week of January.

Claims
Portfolio Bonds – We will process any full or part surrender received up to and including 5th December subject to the following being received:

• Original withdrawal/surrender request
• Policy documents (where relevant)
• Any outstanding information in relation to the claim
• Proceeds of any sale (where cash is not available)

8th Dec – Hari Raya Haji

24th Dec – Skandia Day

25th Dec – Christmas Day

26th Dec – Boxing Day

1st Jan – New Year
